IrDomeControl - Infrared imaging with pan tilt systems

DomeControl is an extension for the software package IrControl. It allows the control of pan-tilt units, expanding the field of view of the camera and enabling large-area scans for fast thermography measurements.

Once the pan and tilt control has been set up, the system will automatically retrace the predetermined positions. For each position, individual workspaces can be loaded for the analysis of the thermal images. A temperature-place-diagram shows the temperature characteristics for all positions along the way. But DomeControl allows not only to monitore predefined positions. It can record also film sequences when the pan-tilt unit is moving. Both cases feature all functions of the software package IrControl for infrared imaging in realtime. It provides the basis for measurement, evaluation and control tasks in industrial automation, R&D and other challenging applications. Even complex tasks in industry can be realised in a short time without major programming work. DomeControl supports also all established protocols like Pelco or Visca and it is adaptable to further ones.
