Industrial inline system for fully automatic inspection of plastic-welding processes.

The inspection of seals is a crucial part of thequality-control process for products in the food and pharmaceuticals industries. The temperature image is automatically analysed by the IrControl infrared imaging system. The existence and position of the sealed seam is inspected. Defective parts are automatically detected and discarded.

 

Components

  • Uncooled, virtually maintenance-free infrared cameras for industrial usage
  • Computer with digital I/O card for camera control, evaluation of image data, alarm generation and the exchange of data with the process-control system
  • IrControl software control

The system can be adapted in various ways in line with the operational conditions of the application in question.
