Our non-destructive testing solution possesses several methods based on active thermography. One option is pulse thermography. This mode analyses components by means of material behaviour with thermal exposure.

At this, a surface is stimulated by a signal of heat which uniformly permeates into the material and cools down after all. When the material begins to chill the component absorbs heat radiation. If there is a defect in the material, you can recognise a difference of heat on the surface. That also means a difference of absorbed heat radiation at this location which can be detected by an infrared-camera. On the thermal images you will find corresponding unevenness. This method operates the process in very short ranges pictures everytime a thermal image.
