The FLIR A310 belongs to the new generation of fixed mount infrared cameras and can be seen as a milestone in many ways. For example, it is equipped with a number of key features, such as power supply via Ethernet or MPEG-4 video streaming. This infrared camera can be operated in a network via the Ethernet connection and, with appropriate specifications for alarm thresholds, can independently take over control and alarm tasks via the digital inputs and outputs.
The A-series consists of compact and inexpensive infrared cameras that can be fully controlled by a PC. This camera model has an uncooled detector with 320 x 240 pixels and is ideal for thermographic applications in automation and surveillance.
